Warsaw's main Christmas market (Jarmark Warszawski) fills Plac Defilad at the foot of the Palace of Culture and Science, right by Centrum metro station. Cheap lunch near the market milk bars
All milk bars →Plac Defilad is right in the centre, and several milk bars are within a 15-minute walk. A set lunch (soup and a main) at a milk bar usually costs 25–35 zł, about the price of two cups of mulled wine at the market. Do as the locals do: a proper hot lunch first, then back to the stalls after dark when the lights come on. These are the closest.
